Portable Specimen Tube Holder Clamp

Description

Our portable specimen tube holder is the only one on the market that can be easily attached to any intravenous therapy infusion system which always accompanies a patient treated in an outpatient setting and transferred to a hospital.  Given that it accompanies the patient at all times, it reduces the possibility of specimen loss, facilitates specimen identification, maintains the verticality of the tubes (reducing hemolysis) and facilitates patient care for professionals, among other utilities.

The project is based on the granting of a utility model by the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office with application number: U202030310 and publication number: ES1244389 whose holder is the Andalusian Health Service and the inventors Ángela Jiménez García and Nicolás Benítez Muñoz with issue date: 17/08/2020.

Current needs

Our goal is to be able to license this device by creating a company to be able to include it in the market. We have the infrastructure to manufacture it and we need help to establish the best market strategy, as well as advice regarding the creation of the startup or spin off. We also need funding.
