Emergency Backpack with integrated IV support pole

Description

DIMPUS is a backpack for medical emergencies that has a telescopic IV pole with the last section being made of ferromagnetic material where the IV bag is attached by means of the magnetic IV bag holder to facilitate infusion to patients in emergency situations. Both the backpack and the magnetic support are protected as utility models by the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office(SPTO); and an international patent has been applied for for the backpack.

These devices improve the autonomy of healthcare professionals working in health emergencies that require quick and precise interventions. It also provides patient safety and improves the time required to administer the required treatment to each patient.

We have prototypes of both models, pending to be tested in a working environment by professionals not related to the invention.

Current needs

We need advice in order to decide whether to license the product ourselves and commercialize it through a spin off or to look for companies to license the product.

In the first case we would need a CEO.

In the second case we need advice and training to be able to reach the appropriate companies in the different countries.
